Danielle Cormack reveals shock Hit-and-Run incident

Earlier this month, Danielle Cormack who plays Bea Smith in Australian prison drama, Wentworth, was involved in a hit and run incident whilst riding her motorcycle.

Speaking to TV Week the 44 year old actress said she was riding her motorcyle around Sydney last month and was involved in a hit and run accident.

She showed off her scar as a result from the incident in an Instagram post last month, the abrasion running across her forearm.

‘To the guy who pulled out in front of my bike then didn’t stick around to see if I was ok I give you the middle finger salute,’ the actress wrote alongside the shot.

An avid motorcyclist, Danielle is sometimes seen on social media showing off her many impressive rides, which include Yamaha’s and a Harley Davidson.

Danielle, who plays Bea Smith in Wentworth, was a big winner at the TV Week’s Logie Awards earlier this month.

She won the Logie for Most Outstanding Actressand helped lead Wentworth to the Most Outstanding Drama Program Logie.

It wasn’t the only award ceremony that was kind to the actress though, as she also scored Most Oustanding Actress at the ASTRA Awards in March.

The acclaimed TV show is currently in it’s third season, which runs through until mid-June.
